What Mnemoz is

Mnemoz ("we", "us") helps you preserve the stories behind your photos. You upload a photo, talk with an AI assistant about the memory, and we keep the photo and its story together in your private archive. Mnemoz is operated by BX Consulting Groups LLC. Questions: privacy@mnemoz.app.

What we collect

Only what the product needs to work:

• Your email address and name — to sign you in and address you.
• Photos you choose to upload — stored as originals in private cloud storage.
• Your stories — the conversations, transcripts, and voice recordings you make while telling a memory.
• Details you share about people and places — names, relationships, and facts you tell us, so your memories connect together.

We do not collect your contacts, location, or browsing activity. We show no ads and use no advertising trackers.

How AI is involved

Mnemoz's core feature is an AI conversation about your photos. To provide it, your photos, transcripts, and stories are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) under agreements that prohibit them from using this data to train their models. Voice recordings are transcribed by AI. We never sell your data, and your memories are never used to train AI models.

Where your data lives

Your archive is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) in private, access-controlled buckets. Photos and recordings are served only through short-lived signed links. Login is passwordless (email codes/links) via Supabase Auth. Emails are delivered via Mailgun.

Sharing — always your choice

Nothing you keep in Mnemoz is public. If you choose to share a memory, we create an unlisted link that shows exactly what you selected — you can see a preview first, and you can turn any share link off at any time. If you allow it, an invited recipient may save a copy of a shared memory to their own account; your original always remains yours.

Deletion — full control

You can delete any memory at any time; deletion removes the photo, audio, story, and all linked data permanently. You can also delete your entire account from the Account page in the app, which permanently removes your photos, recordings, stories, people, shares, and login. Deletion is not reversible.

Children

Mnemoz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
